Andy Collins for Kids
Created in 1997 in memory of a close friend, Andy Collins for Kids (ACK) is the largest community fundraiser for the Montreal Children’s Hospital, having raised more than $6.2 million to date to improve the lives of sick children.
Through their golf tournament, their highly successful FUNDAY Gala, the Shave to Raise event, and several other initiatives, they have created a true legacy of giving, highlighting the importance of solidarity while keeping FUN at the heart of all their fundraising efforts.
Bruce Charron, co-founder and former president of ACK, was a friend and a driving force of energy, bringing joy to every fundraiser. His legacy of generosity and mentorship continues to inspire. As he always said: “Now you know the drill.” Tragically killed in a ski accident in 2019, Bruce was the recipient of the 2019 Award for Excellence in Community Engagement and Volunteer Action.
